Secret Crypto Gem for now and 2022!
The new cryptocurrency Mina (MINA) has been on an upward trend for several days. FATPIGSIGNALS and I introduce Mina Protocol and say: what is Mina Protocol? Why is the Mina Protocol special? And: how high can the new cryptocurrency with a potential rise in 2022?
The Mina Protocol wants to solve the problems of scalability and decentralization with its blockchain. The highlight: the network is only 22 kilobytes in size. Mina Protocol, or Mina Coin (formerly “Coda), is a new cryptocurrency with 2022 potential. The project calls itself “the world’s lightest blockchain.” Background: the blockchain of Mina does not use more than 22 kilobytes under any circumstances. For comparison, 22kb is roughly the size of a few tweets.
The blockchain is now finding its way into more
and more areas of life. Although various researchers first started thinking about it back in the 1990s, many still associate the origin of the technology with a shining light in crypto space: Satoshi Nakamoto. Yet the development of his life’s work, Bitcoin, is surrounded by just as many myths as the inventor himself. Over the years, this idea gave rise to a whole new crypto industry with countless different cryptocurrencies, all of them with — sometimes more, sometimes less other — approaches to optimizing or solving the problems that digitalization brings with it.
But new technologies also mean new challenges. Issues such as data privacy, network congestion, transaction costs, ease of use, and ease of integration with traditional services all play a role in limiting progress. The “Mina Protocol” aims to change that. The “world’s lightest blockchain” seeks to create a “privacy-friendly gateway” between the real and crypto worlds. To achieve this, the crypto project from “O(1) Labs” focuses primarily on scalability and decentralization.
The size of the blockchain lightweight is downright tiny compared to other models. The Bitcoin blockchain, for example, currently has a height of just over 338 gigabytes. The Mina Protocol is just 22 kilobytes: a grain of sand in the blockchain Sahara.
Despite the size, any user should establish peer-to-peer connections and quickly synchronize and verify the system. The user thus becomes a “full node” and has a direct influence on the blockchain. In addition, the proof-of-stake protocol offers programmable payments and, above all, privacy, all while complying with cryptography security standards.
